What exactly is that?

Sophie’s offers two different regular events: Game Night and Improv Night.

On Game Night, you get to experience fun activities such as flip cup, beerpong, cards against humanity, dart, foosball and many more. Prizes are awarded to the winners at the end of the night. And it is of course the perfect opportunity for meeting new people and mingling.

Improv Night involves unscripted comedy and drama performances. Everything is very spontaneous and the best part is, anyone can do it! It only involves acting skills, mostly it’s practiced through groups and paired exercises. Definitely a fun activity to participate in or watch. But careful, even the audience gets to be part of the experience. This is the event to attend for an evening full of laughs and giggles.

When is this?

Game Night is every second and fourth Monday of the month and Improv Night is every Sunday. They both start around 8 and last until everyone is played out.

Where can I find it?

Sophie’s Bar is on 51, Bawei Lu  八纬路51号 (Bāwěi Lù 51 Hào), the closest metro station would be Qingnian Dajie 青年大街 (Qīngnián Dàjiē).

Game Night is best suited to those looking for new acquaintances in Shenyang through a non-awkward means and those who cannot turn down a good challenge.

Improv Night is for all budding actors out there as well as those folks who want to get braver in dealing with stage fright or facing strangers.
